While She Sleeps sets ‘Le Splendid’ on fire with their France headliner tour

Tonight, we’re at Le Splendid in Lille (France) for an almost sold out show of While She Sleeps, Resolve and Ashen. This one is going to be a special one, a ‘Sleeps show in an intimate venue that once was a cinema with a capacity of 900 people.

The first part of this evening will be opened by Ashen. After their last show last year in Lille with Landmvrks they’re sure more than ready for their set tonight!

The bandmembers are coming up on stage, and what a first slap! The Parisian metalcore band immediately captivated the audience. They really had a short set but to which the room responds with a real enthusiasm, crowdsurfings and the pits were launched.

The group delivered a great performance. After half an hour, Ashen leaves the stage.

After the great set of Ashen, it’s now time for Resolve! The lights go out and a heavy silence settles in the room for a few seconds. It is with a formidable energy that the guys jump on stage. Starting their setlist with ‘Beautiful Hell’. The set has just started and all the fans are going wild. Resolve played a few songs from their latest album ‘Between Me and The Machine’ that came out in 2021. But we also had the chance to hear ‘Death Awaits’ and ‘Move To Thrash’, their two latest singles.

Closing their set with an acoustic intro of ‘Forever Yours’. It was Anthony the frontman and his guitar to open that amazing song!

Resolve delivered an intense set, juggling clean vocals, an acoustic moment during ‘Forever Yours’ to give chills and goosebumps screams, as well as a fantastic musical composition that keeps the crowd hyped throughout their whole set.

And finally it’s time for While She Sleeps! There we go, finally! The voices on the intro of ‘SLEEPS SOCIETY’are heard in the room and the reaction of the public is not long incoming. The euphoria of the room is felt from the start.

The room turns into a real moshpit with waves of crowdsurfers from the first notes. Going on with ‘Anti-Social’they keep the energy coming with sing-a-longs. And there we go back to the tracks of their album ‘So What?’ that came out in 2019. Tracks such as; ‘The Guilty Party’ and ‘I’ve Seen It All’.

They also take us back to 2017 to the album ‘You Are We’. With tracks such as ‘You Are We’, ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Silence Speaks’. And last but not least they also headed back to 2015 with their track ‘Four Walls’ from their album ’Brainwashed’. Where Loz asked the crowd to climb on each other’s shoulders. The crowd went wild after the intro of that track.

Closing their set with an encore of 2 tracks such as ‘ENLIGHTENMENT (?)’ and ‘SYSTEMATIC’

Setlist: SLEEPS SOCIETY – ANTI-SOCIAL – YOU ARE ALL YOU NEED – THE GUILTY PARTY – I’VE SEEN IT ALL – EYE TO EYE – You Are We – Four Walls – KNOW YOUR WORTH (SOMEBODY) – FAKERS PLAGUE – Hurricane – Silence Speaks – ENGLIGHTENMENT (?) – SYSTEMATIC

The performance of the group was of high quality tonight, they all performed an amazing set with a lack of energy and it kept going the whole evening from the first note of every band. Seeing almost 900 people sing all the lyrics for 80 minutes warms the heart.
